Poem

As We Walk

Time moves so slowly
as we walk in the meadows
hand in hand
we walk alone

The flowers in full bloom
scents fill the air
deep dark green grass
covers the ground

A light breeze
moves through the air
bright morning sun
heat is felt on our faces

I look at you
see your beauty
against the beauty of nature
nature's sights strong in my mind

Then once more I look at you
your beauty fills my mind
leaving nature far behind
