Nights dusk finds me upon a desolate shore,
The moons ivory glow, casting shadows on dreams I hold,
This time of day speaks to me evermore,
For now I know my heart you have stole,
Sandy shores beneath my feet,
Riptides chase my fears so far from sight,
Crickets sing for their loves so sweet,
All beneath the moons ivory light.
Stars above me dance and twirl,
In the distance lighten sears,
Darkened clouds swiftly swirl,
Ivory light turns to fears.
Waves now crash upon the shore,
Majestic power fills the world,
Towering palms sway and sore,
The ivory moon is no more.
