Carol McCormick
Poem

Shifting Waters

Calling me softly
Into cool water

My name; a whisper
On your lips

Chills run my spine
Urging me closer

Water swirling about
I slip through wakes

Weightlessly
Molding to you

Bold hands
Command desire

Exquisite strokes
Steal breath

Quivering muscles
Beg relief

Thoughts vanish

Senses explode

Shifting water...
Ripples to shore
