Poem

Time is Seen

Time is seen by the eye.
The eye is blind when it tries to see why.
I want to break loose and be free.
I want to be my shadow,
It wants to be me.

These words are as thick as the light.
They are nothing in the black void of night.
My body imprisons my soul.
I long for the teacher of truth,
Though I fear all knowledge to know.

How can I find what is lost,
When I cannot pay what it cost.
Like the bitter evolves into sweet,
I search for the reason I change.
For the circle to finally complete.

Time is seen by the eye.
The eye is blind when it tries to see why.
I want to break loose and be free.
I want to be my shadow,
It wants to be me.
