Poem

A chill comes over me as I lose myself in you,
I am swallowed up.
In your lips I feel safe and yet like a child.
A new, adventurous spirit overcomes me
and I laugh.
Your glance immediately comforts,
still it sends excitement through my raging veins.
The moment we touch my doubts disappear.
Never before have I felt this free.
My world spins and all the while I am safe,
in your arms, and in your world.
Incessant is this peace I find in myself
as we become one.
