Poem

Blue Skies

As I lie in the sweet smelling grass
I close my eyes.
Darkness changes to a shade of blue,
seemingly warm and comforting.
Here by my side,
your hand gently caresses my cheek,
as your warm lips meet mine.
As two become one, mind and body
entwine.
An early advent of spring,
fantastic images dancing in my head.
An opaque sense of reality,
pure reveries floating among the
clouds in my make believe blue sky.
