My Thoughts (July 21, 1989)

Today, one month has gone by-
each new day has brought a new tear to my eye.
I moved here, far from family and friends-
because of my love for him.
How was I to know that the light of my life-
would so rapidly grow dim?
Sometimes I don't feel that I belong here-
and not because I lack having family or friends near.
When I need someone with whom to talk-
all I can do is, in my mind go for a long lonely walk.
Sometimes I feel the need to get away, I feel the need to flee-
then I start thinking: without him what will my life be?
