Poem

Silence of the Night

It is so still out tonight
For the snow has softly fallen
The pine trees are all dressed in white
Standing proud with their heavy burdens

You can hear the beautiful Silence of the Night
The one in which lovers walk and share
Surrounded by the glory of the snow
Only slightly less beautiful than their love

It really doesn't take a word or noise
To transport each other to heaven
It only takes a gaze, a touch, a feel
A gentle smile of delight

When the spring comes and the
Snow has melted slowly away
We will remember how it was for us
In that snow filled golden night...
