Poem

Hungry Hearts

In summer's heat she watches...every move he makes
She breaths him in then out again...his nails slightly rake
Her cheek , this man of fathoms...this shadow of her thoughts
This one who comes when she hums and and in her dreams...is caught
He's mired right where she wants him...within her passions' nest
She goes to him and then within he takes her in...ingests
Every bead of her desires...in every rhythm makes
The circle then of all her whims and pulses...every fate
He can't be more than offered but manages all the same
He wraps her up in passion...then whispers out her name
She perks her nerves before the thought of him comes round to call
She knew him from centuries old when first love came to boil
The magic of a pair of hearts caught in this magic power
When thoughts race toward the fate of hearts and passions start to shower
Down upon these hungry hearts who beat within this maze
These two who found the perfect match and snatched love from the haze
These hearts that beat identical...who walk now hand-in-hand
Into the void that's filling and making their love grand.
