Lonely Valentine

It was a lonely Valentine
No one to hold and say she was mine
I looked around
But in my head was an empty sound
I looked upon the sky
And watch the doves fly by
They each had a mate
And there was I without a date
I felt like could die
And fly high above the sky
That day I couldn't eat
And walk with thorns in my feet
What will I do
Living my life without you
What will I say
When your missing on that special day
It was a lonely night
I looked at the moon but didn't see the light
The cold breeze passed me by
Thought to myself what a lie
Said to myself this couldn't be true
I was confused and didn't know what to do
I shivered in the breeze
And so did the trees
If there was only a sign
To let me know it was a lonely Valentine!
